Description
Ivar Ålenius Björk (1905 – 1978) worked as a sculptor and is best known for his busts. His public decorations can today be seen in many Swedish cities. Ivar Ålenius Björk designed a series of brass candlesticks for the Swedish manufacturer Ystad-Metall, which was discontinued in 1969. The lily was one of these candlesticks and it has become a modern design classic that has appeared in many international interiors. In collaboration with Ivar Ålenius Björk’s relatives, Skultuna has now started production of Liljan again.
