Dedicate Lamp is all about function, movement and what it allows us to do. Designer Thomas Bentzen looked to the building industry for inspiration, transforming the fluid motion of cranes and excavators into precise lighting for dedicated work.
“Design wise, it has been about playing with this kind of iconic form, but adapted till today’s light sources to create something that elevates function without losing track of the original idea. It should feel like a nod to its predecessor,” Thomas Bentzen says.
The result is not just one lamp, but a whole system. Built from the same elements, it comes in three models with different functions and lengths. Combined with the option of four different bases — Table Clamp, Wall Mount, Table Pin and Table Base — the versatile lighting series offers a unique sense of agency and flexibility. In other words, you get what you need. Dedicate Lamp is about allowing you to dedicate yourself completely to the task ahead, be it writing, drawing or cooking.

The lamp head and hinges are in die-casted aluminium, and the lamp arms are in extruded aluminium. All powder coated. Diffuser in injection moulded plastic. Table base in machined steel. Clamp in die-casted aluminium and screw in stainless steel—pin in machined steel screw and fixing nut.
