Woody shelf by the Danish Hay is a modern interpretation of traditional ladder shelves. Woody has been created in the spirit of modernism: nothing in the construction is hidden, and all the joints and screws are clearly visible. The simplistic design gives Woody its characteristic, refined appearance that leaves room for the items placed on the shelves.

The combination of a wooden frame and bent steel shelves makes Woody visually light yet structurally strong and stable. The shelves lie freely on the wooden frame and can be easily taken off if needed. With no apparent front and back, Woody works equally well as a freestanding room divider or placed against the wall.
