Description

It’s not a ladder, but a bookshelf, created by a designer who wants you to be part of his process. On its own it could be a sculpture. Through repetition you could create something new: a bookshelf wall or separator. Libri comes in three different heights – all with the same high-level design.Available in Oak natural lacquer, and  Ash wood in a white or black lazur finish. Shelf, to be used either as a solitary shelf or in combination. Libri shelves can be combined against a wall or back to back thus becoming free standing, or in a row creating a room divider. 

The Libri shelf has adjustable legs that can be adjusted after the installation. Brackets for installation against the wall and for linking is included in delivery. 

3 Sizes: H114, W 38  D 30cm,  H77, W 38 D 30cm, and  H227, 38w x 30cm deep.

Michael Bihain is one of Europe's most creative designers. He is also the designer that won't terminate the creative process. Instead, he seeks to hand it over the to the users. The objects are meant to work as solitudes - or  by repetition create a new unity. Bihain hands over the relay baton - for example the awarded, unforgettable, ladder looking bookshelf Libri for Swedese.

Swedese

Swedese is a classic Swedish furniture producer with a strong presence in both the commercial and domestic domain. Swedese's ideals are the same today as they have been for the past seventy years. These are to create beautiful furniture for the future, which build on the foundations of Scandinavian modern traditions, designed by forward-looking designers who share in the timeless ideals of architecture. Swedese was founded in 1945 by the two brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström and Sven Bertil Sjöqvist, with Yngve leading the company until his death. The most well known design of Yngve Ekström extensive portfolio is the Lamino chair from 1956, which is still manufactured today and sold all over the world.
