Brand : Asplund

Designer : Daniel Lavonius Jarefeldt

Description

Iris is a round, large, medium and small coffee table designed by Daniel Lavonius  Jarefeldt for the ASPLUND Collection 2023. The table top in beautiful stone together with the wooden stand creates many combinations that fit in several different environments. The shapes are clean with a soft elegance and the details are well worked.

The base, which is oil-waxed, has softly rounded corners where part of the leg goes up and embraces the table top. The aesthetics are inviting and generous with a high sense of materiality where the structure of the wood is highlighted. The inspiration comes from Japanese wood joining techniques and Swedish craftsmanship. Iris is equally beautiful on its own or in a group and fits both at home and in public environments.
