Damian Williamson is the visiting teacher in industrial design at Lund University of Technology and has previously collaborated with prominent companies such as Artemide, DePadova and Zanotta. Adea presents now two of his new designs: Domino and Origami. “Ongoing research into precisely how we perceive perceived comfort prior to actual experience led me to explore one quintessential element that we are all familiar with. A soft padded rectangular box, the humble cushion. A dynamic composition of rectangular cushions of varying proportion and density makes up the cascading collage of Domino. Each cushion has been positioned precisely to facilitate both an expression of comfort and comfort itself”, says Damian Williamson.
