Since 1991, Christians Bruun has had his own workshop under the old grandstand at Charlottenlund Trotting Track, where you can stop by and find him when he is not at his workshop in Vietnam to create new unique works. His works are part of the permanent collection at Designmuseum Danmark, at Clay Keramikmuseum Danmark, just as his stoneware can also be found in various galleries. Christian Bruun has been awarded several scholarships, including from the Statens Kunstfond and he has won several awards for his craftsmanship.
Description
The Gro range marks Kähler’s launch of accessories for outdoor spaces. This beautiful pot features a unique surface with distinctive hexagonal structures inspired by the world of plants. The use of an unusual firing process, which involves the use of wood, means that no two pots are alike. As a result, Gro has an extremely distinctive appearance. Place this rustic, light sand pot on a patio or balcony and fill it with green plants – or use the large pot by itself and let the design speak for itself. The pot and saucer were designed by the renowned Danish potter, Christian Bruun.
